Today, as a part of NiCE World London, NiCE made two announcements that highlight the importance of trust in enterprise AI Adoption partners and infrastructure: the AI Specialization Program and a launch partnership with AWS's new EU-only sovereign cloud.
AI Specialization Program
NiCE launched the AI Specialization Program today, formally recognizing six inaugural members of the NiCE 360 Partner Program that have leveraged NiCE AI into measurable enterprise outcomes.
Accenture, Cirrus, Deloitte, TTEC, and Route101 all met the rigorous, criteria-based standards for advisory consulting and implementation services. NiCE AI Specialization Partners are evaluated by three pillars to ensure they can deliver AI at scale: People, Practice, and Performance.
Each partner must have:
- Practitioner-Level NiCE Certified AI Engineers (NCAE)
- Conversation Designers + AI Delivery Lead
- At least 3 distinct live use case deployments across the complete NiCE AI suite, with at least one Enterprise–scale rollout
- The data to prove successful AI deployments, including AI-attributed annual contract value (ACV) and customer satisfaction (CSAT) scores
Enterprises are placing significant investment in AI, and they need partners with deep AI skills and experience that provide advisory consulting and implementation services. The NiCE AI Specialization Partner Program sets that standard. It recognizes the partners who have proven they can turn NiCE AI into measurable business outcomes, and gives every enterprise a trusted, independently verified way to choose who to build with.
Enterprise buyers now essentially have a pre-vetted shortlist of partners with proven AI credentials, backed by clearly-defined partner tiers, rigorous standards, and trusted industry evaluation frameworks.
NiCE also announced upcoming plans to roll out additional product and vertical-market Specializations within the NiCE 360 Partner Program through 2027.
Given the pushback against AI hype and anxiety surrounding AI ROI, expect NiCE’s competitors to follow in their footsteps by creating clearer, outcomes-based partner certifications.
AWS European Sovereign Cloud Partnership
NiCE also announced today that it was named as a launch partner for the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, meaning the NiCE CX AI now supports digital sovereignty and EU data residency.
This allows NiCE to expand to the EU market–particularly those in highly-regulated industries like healthcare, finance, and the public sector–while meeting Europe’s notoriously higher sovereignty and security standards.
What sets NiCE apart is enterprise-grade agentic AI engineered for the world’s most regulated organizations, purpose-built with reliability, security, compliance, and privacy that organizations can’t compromise on. By extending our agentic AI solution to the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, NiCE enables Europe’s most regulated organizations to deploy next-generation AI capabilities on an independent cloud infrastructure located within the EU, supporting their digital sovereignty needs while accelerating AI-first customer experience transformation.
The AWS European Sovereign Cloud operates independently from existing AWS regions and has an entirely EU-based infrastructure. This clears the way for highly-regulated European enterprises to adopt the same agentic AI, at scale, that their less-regulated peers already use. They’ll be able to keep pace with competitors and the breakneck evolution of AI without violating regional regulatory requirements.
As we operate in an increasingly complex regulatory and competitive environment, especially around the use of AI, we see sovereignty as becoming essential to our long-term AI strategy. The combination of NiCE's agentic AI capabilities and the AWS European Sovereign Cloud offers a compelling path forward, allowing us to innovate while meeting evolving requirements around data residency, governance, and operational control.
The CX Impact
Taken together, these two announcements underscore NiCE’s commitment to building trust and establishing authority regarding enterprise AI delivery at scale.
The AI Specialization Program instills trust in the people and partners that actually develop and implement NiCE AI outcomes, while the AWS European Sovereign Cloud partnership announcement instills trust in the infrastructure running NiCE’s AI-powered CX solution.
“Best-effort” data sovereignty compliance is no longer enough for today’s global market, and self-described "expertise" doesn’t earn customer trust in a world of AI overhype and suspiciously perfect demos.
Now, we’ll sit back and see which competitors swiftly follow suit.
